The 1982 Corvette marked the final year of the C3 generation "Shark" Corvettes, and introducing Cross-Fire Injection and the Special Collector Edition hatchback, with 6,759 inits produced.

The engine build was done by Rick Stark Corvette's. The 5.7L 350 cubic inch small-block V8 L83 is no longer running smog control or catalytic converter. Cross-Fire Injection system, a twin throttle-body fuel injection system that making up to 80 adjustments per second, improving performance and drivability. Dual 3" exhaust that has a deep growl. The 350 cu is producing 325+ hp. This is quite an increase over stock that produced 200 hp. Matched to TH700-R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive (fourth gear).

This is a fine handling road car. The front has a massive 1 1/4-inch front sway bar, and the rear 7/16-inch rear sway bar. Perfect for the driver who wants a firmer and more aggressive and improved handling and cornering. Plus has Bilstein shocks front and rear.
