The 1965 Malibu SS (Super Sport) is a complete nut and bolt frame off build 2024-2026. This is a true SS VIN "138" car NOT a tribute. Comes with documentation of the build. The build currently has 80 miles. All New! Show ready.

The Chevelle Malibu 1965 was Chevrolet's "luxury package." A mid-size luxury-oriented subseries of the Chevrolet Chevelle. Malibu trim adding upgraded interior, deluxe steering wheel, deep-twist carpeting, and patterned vinyl upholstery. The revised tail sections made the Malibu standout. The Malibu SS ( Super Sport) as a performance option with bucket seats, center console, special wheel covers, and a performance 327 cu. Matched to an aluminum Muncie M20 4-speed manual, and a POSI rear end with 3.08 gear. Featuring front disc brakes and rear drums this beauty can stop on a dime. Fully show ready!

New top, rear window, well, carpets and pads, hydraulic top pump, all new hydraulic hoses, both hydraulic rams replaced. The front blinker bezels replaced.

Interior top frame was repainted and restored, new interior dash and door paint, all window, door and trunk weatherstripping are replaced. Replaced back to factory steering wheel and located a restored original steering column.

Replaced all body bushing, car lifted above the frame to install, all new front-end components, brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, ect. An upsized larger front sway bar complete with front end rebuild. New 4ct. 1" drop spring and 2" drop spindles. New original boxed trailing arms, tork box frame support arm bars installed, rebuilt rear end, with new Yukon 308 gears with a Posi rear end and a factory Chevelle GM style sway bar.

New 2.5" Pypes exhaust system with street pro turbo mufflers for a quite exhaust tone, but allows street performance. New gas tank, straps, cap and sending unit. Located and restored the original 1965 Harrison 3 core radiator, fan and shroud.

Completely rebuilt 1965 327 long block engine, 1965 heads, and 1965 factory Holley carburetor, 1965 aluminum intake manifold, all choke accessories and factory 1965 exhaust manifolds, new oil pan.

New wiper motor, wiper arms, blades, dash switch, and washer accessories. New drivers rear view mirror. New power steering gear box and power steering pump, and all new belts. Protronics electronic distributer, new wires, flame thrower high voltage coil. Every factory system, spark plug wires, belts, hoses, gas and air filter, water pump was all updated new.

Rebuilt 1965 date casting Muncie transmission M20 4-speed with a McLeod step above street performance clutch assembly. 1965 327 (non numbers) Block Casting Number #3782870/10.5 compression for street friendly compression and factory 350 hp. camshaft. 1965 327 factory Original Head casting numbers #3782461=194/1.50 valves. 1965 327 Factory Original Aluminum Intake Manifold, casting number #3844461. 1965 327 Original Factory Holley Carburetor #3034. 1965 327 Factory original Exhaust Manifold numbers #3840912 and #3834947. 17"x 7" Factory style looking wheels and caps. Aftermarket stereo, and speakers. Factory 14" sized spare tire, original jack and tire cover.

Stunning paint is Inferno Red 2000 Chrysler; it's an enhanced version of the factory color. The trunk has been restored. The '65 features new chrome bumpers, refurbished stainless steel trim, rear light bezels and emblems. Complete bare metal repaint. Original color was a Tan/Gold.

This car has almost been completely updated from bumper to bumper, it is a turn key restored show car and reliable driver.
