1957 Ford Thunderbird VIN E7FH200117. The twin quad-barrel carburetor was distinguishable by the letter E in the car's VIN code. The 1957 Thunderbird E-Code is a rare, high-performance two-seater featuring a 312-cubic-inch (5.1L) V8 with dual four-barrel carburetors, known as the "E-Bird." The E-Code represents the most powerful two-seater Thunderbird available. This factory E-Code car is paired with a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Ford thunderbird was performance and luxury sports car all in one package. The 1957 Thunderbird was the last which retained the original two-passenger layout by Ford, and only a total of 1,449 E-Code options were made.
